Recreational Therapy Students
Our Recreational Therapy Program offers highly competitive internships for a minimum of 15-weeks at the Brooks Inpatient Hospital. During a Recreational Therapy Internship with Brooks Inpatient Rehabilitation, you will experience and engage in: 1:1 treatment sessions with patients, small and large groups (cooking, horticulture, art, etc.), community reintegration outings and educational sessions. Through the internship, there are also opportunities to shadow at other Brooks settings such as Brooks Clubhouse, Brooks Adaptive Sports Program, and Brooks Pediatric Recreation Program.

Deadline to Apply:
- Fall Internship (September-December): May 1st
- Spring Internship (January-April): October 1st
- Summer Internship (May-August): February 1st
