Bio:

Dr. Jordan is the Director of Vision Rehabilitation Services at Brooks Rehabilitation. Her primary focus is patient care, providing optometric and vision rehabilitation services to individuals with both ocular and neurologic vision deficits. Dr. Jordan also consults on patients in the Brooks Rehabilitation University Hospital and at the Bartram campus, where she works with the interdisciplinary team to help minimize the effects of visual changes on the rehabilitation process. She is involved in several clinical research projects with the Brooks Clinical Research Center. She also teaches the CEU Course Vision Rehabilitation: Understanding and Managing Visual Impairments Across the Continuum of Care. 

Education & Training:

Dr. Jordan completed her residency in low vision and primary care at the Ralph H Johnson VAMC in Charleston, SC. She graduated with her OD, Magna cum Laude, from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She also holds her Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University.

Academic & Professional Activities:

Dr. Jordan is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry [and the National Academies of Practice]. She is a member of the American Optometry Association and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (Vision Task Force). She is the administrative advisor for the Hospital Based Interest Group for Neuro Vision Rehab.
