Dr. Julie Braun is the Assistant Director of Clinical Education at the University of North Florida within the DPT Program where she also acts as the lead instructor for the SCI course. She works clinically at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital and is a clinical instructor and mentor as part of the Brooks PT Neurologic Residency. She is actively working as part of the methodology subgroup developing a clinical practice guideline to improve locomotor function across subacute neurologic patient populations. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and completed the Brooks Neurologic Residency in 2012. She is a former coordinator of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at Brooks. Julie has been actively involved in teaching for the Brooks IHL since 2014. Her interests include clinical education and coaching, knowledge translation, and enhancing functional outcomes and quality of life for individuals post-spinal cord injury and other debilitating neurologic conditions.
