Dr. Amber Custodi currently serves as the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program Coordinator for Orlando.
Bio:

Dr. Amber Custodi received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College, in Amherst NY in 2021. She then proceeded to complete an Orthopaedic Residency and Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy with Brooks Rehabilitation in 2022 and 2024, respectively. Once becoming a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Specialist and a Fellow of AAOMPT, Amber moved from Jacksonville to Orlando to begin her role as program coordinator of the Brooks Orthopaedic Residency Program in Orlando, while also treating patients at the Waterford Lakes Clinic. In addition to clinical practice, Amber is involved in mentoring Orthopedic residents and new Brooks employees in the Clinical Practice Enhancement Program, and has also served as a clinical instructor for DPT students. Amber has given several guest lectures to her alma mater, University of North Florida DPT students, as well as presentations for the Brooks Innovative Topics in Rehabilitation series. Additionally, Amber has presented at both state and national conferences and has been involved in research projects exploring patient preferences and shared-decision making. Amber is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has additional certifications in blood flow restriction training and trigger point dry needling. Amber’s experiences have instilled in her the lifelong learner mindset and the passion for providing education to assist in enhancing the clinical practice of each clinician she has the opportunity to work with.
