Michael Braun currently serves as the OT Neurologic Fellowship Program Coordinator and Assistive Technology Specialist at Brooks Rehabilitation.
Bio:

Michael has over 12 years of experience working with clients post Spinal Cord Injury. He completed his Neurologic Fellowship training at Brooks in 2016 and received Board Certification in Physical Rehabilitation from AOTA. Michael provides ongoing treatment and support for clients with assistive technology needs throughout the Brooks system of care and he is actively involved in the Brooks IHL through mentoring and instruction of clinicians and OT Fellows.

Adjunct Faculty at Jacksonville University teaching content specific to Assistive Technology, Spinal Cord Injury, and neurologic diagnoses

Co-Instructor for 2 CEU classes: Comprehensive Management for the Patient post Spinal Cord Injury, and Advanced Management of the Neurologic Shoulder

BAPS CEU courses: Assistive Technology in Rehabilitation, and Current Landscape in Adaptive Sports and Recreation.

Responsible for teaching OT Neurologic Fellowship didactic content including Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT), intervention intensity and neuroplasticity, behavior and social skills following TBI, sexuality following neurologic injury, functional cognition, assistive technology, and Splinting post Spinal Cord Injury.
