Dr. Raine Osborne currently serves as a faculty member and research advisor for the IHL Residency and Fellowship programs.

Dr. Osborne is the Director of research for Brooks Rehabilitation and physical therapist specializing in orthopaedics. He has practiced at Brooks Rehabilitation since 2007 including roles in clinical practice, education, and research. He is also a Visiting Instructor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of North Florida. Dr. Osborne’s research focus is on post-professional education in the rehabilitation professions.

Dr. Osborne teaches in the areas of clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice for the Brooks IHL residency program and orthopaedics for the University of North Florida Department of Physical Therapy. He also provides mentoring for Brooks IHL orthopaedic residents and fellows-in-training. Dr. Osborne also serves as the chair of the research committee for the Florida Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Physical Therapy Education (APTE) Residency & Fellowship Education Special Interest Group. He also co-chairs the APTE Residency & Fellowship Research Collaborative, which is a group of educational researchers from across the U.S. who focus on generating and supporting large-scale, multi-specialty, high-impact research on physical therapy residency and fellowship education.
