    Exercise Dosing in Aphasia Therapy

    This is an online course offering with no required start or end date. The course can be accessed at any time, and does not have to be completed in one sitting.

    This course will describe dosage parameters as they may be applied to aphasia therapy. It will review current research investigating dosage of aphasia therapy and identify needs for future research in this area.

    At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

    • Define dosage as a principle of experience-dependent neuroplasticity
    • Outline literature on intensity of aphasia therapy to date
    • Explain dosage parameters as they apply to aphasia therapy
    • Identify needs for future research on aphasia therapy dosing

    In order to receive ASHA CEUs for this course, you must complete the ASHA Learning Assessment and CEU Participant Form. The ASHA Learning Assessment will appear at the conclusion of the presentation and is submitted electronically. The CEU Participant Form is available under "Event Resources" and should be returned to the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning once you have completed the course.
