Dr. Anita Davis currently serves as the Therapy Coordinator for the Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Program at Brooks Rehabilitation. She is responsible for designing, implementing and integrating physical therapy in an interdisciplinary team that is focused on treating patients with chronic pain conditions. She supervises support staff and oversees student therapist in the clinic. In addition, she performs off-site ergonomic assessment for Brooks and local customers.

Dr. Davis is a manually trained physical therapist with emphasis on orthopedics. She has specialized in areas of chronic pain, both adult and pediatric. She is especially interested in treating those with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and other neuropathic pain conditions. Dr Davis has recently added aquatic therapy into the treatment approach for such pain conditions. In addition she is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Davis has presented to physical therapy students at the University of North Florida. Training topics include chronic pain management, posture and body mechanics, basic orthopedic skills and assessment. Dr. Davis has also taught several continuing education courses to physical therapists, nurses and case managers. Topics include back rehabilitation and training, fibromyalgia, chronic pain management, and complex regional pain syndrome. She is scheduled to present on chronic pain outcomes to the international Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute in 2013.
Dr Davis initiated the development of the Florida Pain Management Special Interest Group within the Florida Physical Therapy Association. She is credentialed as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students. Dr. Davis is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management and has been a diplomate since 2006. She is a member of the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Association (RSDSA) and serves as a writer for their newsletter. She published a case report on complex regional pain syndrome in The Pain Practitioner. Dr. Davis was also selected as a reviewer of the 2013 proposed standards for interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation for CARF.
